BRINGING OUT THE DEAD

This filler film for Scorsese, as I saw it, extended into the winter over a five month period in NY. It was a summer/ early autumn setting, and being mainly an all night shoot. 5pm to 6am, five days a week, shooting entirely on the NYC streets, except for a few weeks on stage in Brooklyn. Ran into overtime by about a month. It was truly exhausting for me, as I could never sleep during the day in my hotel in Midtown. The NYC street noise of sirens honking and yellers kept me bagged out and beyond, despite the luxurious lodging. Luckily, Cages character had that look, so no makeup was needed for me. A gritty grimy street film. I was deliriously tired for the entire shoot.
